Along with his wife, Suzannne, who worked as a character performer and later in the Entertainment Department of the Magic Kingdom, R.J. counts his time spent as a Walt Disney World cast member as some of the best years of his life.

This is a second part from their last book Together in the Dream. This book is set in the 1970's, this is the third book that I read from RJ And Suuzanne Ogren. Let me first say that I rarely read a book, in fact before reading their 3 out of 4 books I haven't read a book from cover to cover in about 30 years! I usually will try but , I get bored or I just can't focus and visualize the story I'm reading. I can't tell you how much I LOVE these books! RJ and Suzanne talk about their lives when they were working for Walt Disney World. It's exciting to hear what it was like back in the 70's at WDW and the little secret behind the curtain of WDW. I am 53 but, a kid at heart and these books make me wish I was able to be there back then. I LOVE how they rotated their stories in every other chapter. I always would read before I go to bed, well it was hard to put their books down sometimes I would forget to look at the clock and it would be 2am! So, if your are a Disney addict like me, you are going to LOVE their books! I am already reading again, Together in the Dream! This may sound silly but, I wish I could turn back time and meet both of them while they were working at WDW. Reading their books makes me feel like I know them. I found it poorly written, very disjointed and hard to follow. Special, behind the scenes information was lacking.
Suzanne and RJ have done it again. Just like Together in the Dream - the stories in this book are just as heart felt and sentimental as you would expect from these two. The added component is that they tell stories of their friends and share the life long bonds they founded while working at MK. If you are a Disney fan, this gives you a taste of what is was like back in the day. Please keep them coming!
This book is beyond entertaining for an extreme Disney fanatic! I had read R.J. and Suzanne's previous book, and was thrilled to know that they were writing another. Their books take you back to a time (that I am too young to know) and how the World used to be. Obviously a lot of things change, but it's fun to read about how things once were. As a performer, I loved reading about Suzanne's character performing days. And being a frequent Disney World traveler since the 80s, it's fun to read about attractions that R.J. has worked on that you have been looking at for years. All and all, a very fun read that takes me back to a place that I love so dearly. Looking forward to another installment! Thank you R.J. and Suzanne!
This dashing and handsome former Disney artist has lots of amusing and very interesting stories to tell and he tells them well. His wife, co-author, and former Disney cast member also has juicy tidbits and stories to relay to an interested reader and Disney fan. An great read and a wonderful follow-up to their previous book of anecdotes. Highly entertaining and a must-have for anyone interested in stories "behind the scenes" of the Walt Disney World Resort. Highly recommended.
